Bayan M. Jaber

Bayan Jaber began at the firm in May 2019 following her first year of law school, and joined as an associate in the fall of 2021. Throughout her time at the firm, Bayan has worked on a range of employment and civil rights cases that seek to protect the rights of individuals in the workplace and in their communities. Most recently, Bayan has taken part in projects including the pursuit of justice for survivors in the USA Gymnastics civil case, a groundbreaking effort against the Michigan State Police which seeks to shed light on implicit bias in race-based policing, and the rights of Muslim employees to have their religious customs and practices accommodated in the workplace.
Bayan obtained a B.A. in International Studies magna cum laude from the University of Michigan – Dearborn, and a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law. A dedicated and tireless activist, Bayan has worked with organizations such as the United Way and ACLU to fight for social justice from both a policy and legal perspective.
A proud daughter of Arab immigrants who found a home in Dearborn, Michigan, Bayan is inspired by the bravery and hard work of those who came before her. In her spare time, Bayan enjoys reading, art, yoga, and spending time in nature.
